NENI - this stands for Haya Molchos sons, Nuriel, Elior, Nadiv, and Ilan. Each of them makes their own contribution to the unique food concept and makes NENI a real family-run operation. For the Molchos, family and friends have always been a significant part of life. Following the family’s motto “Life is beautiful. Be part of it.”, NENI gives an insight into the Molchos’ world, shaped by vivid colours, exotic flavours, and enticing smells. The pleasant chaos at the big, round tables and the sensual experience of sharing gives guests the impression that they are eating at a friend’s house.
Very good kitchen, good service! Far from the authenticity of an Israeli restaurant but with a great atmosphere. The restaurant is located in a roofed, converted courtyard.
We ordered take away. The food was delicious. Lovely again.
Expensive but very tasty. The service was incredibly friendly
One of my absolute favorite bars in Munich. It is best to reserve in advance. Also suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Great interior design, delicious food and super friendly staff. Despite Corona had a nice meal for my 30th birthday.
Unfortunately, my visit here did not convince me. The interior is beautiful and the relaxed atmosphere is pleasant, but the taste of the food didn't impress me at all, especially for these prices. For me the snack was only 4 times more expensive. I had the Jerusalem plate, which was just mostly hummus with a few small pieces of meat, an onion and a bell pepper. I honestly expected more. Really a shame. The service wasn't attentive at all, we had to wait half an hour until we could pay.
Great atmosphere in the café, very friendly and attentive team, moderate drink prices ... Delicious lemonade ... We felt very comfortable here and would like to come back
Nyom! Very tasty food, attentive service and a great atmosphere!
Very nice atmosphere, very friendly service and the food is a poem! The prices are absolutely okay. For good quality it can be "1 €" more. I would love to come back!
Went for lunch with a few colleagues. Very nice design in central location, liked their Corona safety concept as well. Very friendly and attentive service. Liked the hummus, falafel and meat-filled cigars as appetizers, the mains were quite heavy but delicious as well. Excellent coffee.... Good price-level. I would certainly return.
The food is super good and the looking from the restaurant is super nice
A very, very delicious evening here at NENI. The waitresses were all super friendly and attentive, gave great recommendations and were incredibly quick. The food came just as quickly, it tasted great! Perfectly coordinated and well prepared. The desserts were also delicious, the sesame ice cream with halva is particularly recommended. The atmosphere: the perfect mix of cozy and modern. Anytime again, a great evening.
Super cool restaurant with a chic interior and delicious food. My chicken was super tender! Clear recommendation!
Interesting location with a delicious selection of food and wines. Price performance is okay. Service could be a bit more active.
The food is delicious, the drinks as well, the ambience of the restaurant was really nice with the decoration and light set-up. But the wine is a little bit expensive and the service a tiny little bit slow - but maybe it was just the one evening I was there.
Great food, amazing ambiance but a bit expensive!
Beautiful interiors. The portions look smaller than they actually are, they fill you up great. Tasty food and desert. Friendly service and great to go with your date ;)
Oh dear Marketing and reality diverge a lot. Quote on the homepage: "... Unique food concept and family business ..., friendly chaos at the large round tables, etc.". Well, you like to read that and expect a homely, cared-for atmosphere. However, you find a monstrous system catering. The hall-sized guest room, filled with noise and reverberation, offers one or the other more secluded corner, but certainly not a trace of homeliness and familiarity. And YES: the three €€€ symbols are to be taken seriously. Overpriced standard food that you can get at a trusted oriental snack for a fraction of the money; to which in far more generous portions and probably prepared genuinely by the family. That says everything about the advertised "food concept". Vapiano in oriental - although I didn't notice the oriental flair if I hadn't somehow read something from Israeli ... Conclusion: impressive just because of the size and the location in an incredibly designed hotel. But I prefer to get my falafel and humus at the stand around the corner. Really homely, familiar and authentic. NENI is all of that, at least this one, definitely not. Oh yes: the waitresses are nice.
Really tasty food, nice staff and good coffee. My absolute favorite of what we tried, was the Korean Chicken Salad. So many flavors in one dish I’d choose it again in a heartbeat.
Mega unfriendly staff! The waiter had complained to us that the table was reserved for dinner and that we would only order coffee and cake. 1. You cannot explicitly reserve “for dinner”. 2. Complaining to customers that they are not ordering enough is not exactly customer-oriented. The only good thing about the restaurant was the ambience, but that's the only reason I wouldn't set foot in this restaurant a second time.
Poor service. Waiters mood was not acceptable. Disappointed
awesome people, fantastic service.
If the quality of service would match the interior design, I'd happily give 3 out of 5. The design of the place is lovely with a high degree of finishing/details. Yet, what's so bothering is the degree of provincial-snobbery one can only find in Munich. Acting as if one is in NYC, yet it's only Munich. The food took forever to arrive, way too salty — it was one very simple dish ordered from their regular menu. The waiter placed it wordless on the table and never made eye contact for further orders, one had to actually call him to look your way. During payment, which he took wordless, he flirted in a rather unacceptable manner with one of the female guests (who didn't appreciate it). Overall, not worth the money.
Lovely place, amazing interior design, good service, good food.... I'm definitely coming back again :)
Very nice, good food. Friendly staff.
Maybe we caught that very day ... maybe it was due to another cook. The quality and above all the price / performance ratio, in this case the quantity ratio was already better ... not to say "for the money you can do better, we know that, because we have eaten better at your place"
A really lovely place with great food and coffee. One of the best hummuses I've ever tried!
Absolutely stunning interiors. The food is exquisite as well. There is a book store on the top level. The pita bread and baba ganoush was just too delicious. I also ordered Chicken Shawarma and it was surprisingly very different with mashed potatoes mixed in. The place is still quite full even in pandemic times so a reservation is highly recommended. The staff is quite nice too!! Thanks for the amazing dinner.
I've been ordering from NENI since they're offering it. And I have not been disappointed yet. ?The hummus & the fluffy pita is exceptional. The packaging is environmentally friendly & the food, even packed is always served nicely. ♡ I will keep ordering for sure.
We were here for the first time. Super ambience and super delicious food. Very attentive and friendly staff.
Nice restaurant, nice & cozy decor. Not too loud for this size. Friendly and attentive staff. Fast service. The drinks and menu offer something for every taste. The food is a bit too expensive for the size of the portion, but the taste is very good.
Not cheap but the food and the experience are worth it. 4.5 stars.
This restaurant serves Israeli cuisine, unfortunately the food is completely inauthentic. I waited around 30 minutes for the food and it was cold. The stablishment is very nicely decorated and the staff is competent but the food is not good at all. If you want actual Israel food visit Eclipse grill, they have the best!
Very good service and friendly staff.!!
Solid food, service was ok.
Beautiful interior, amazing food and great location.
Wonderful staff, ambience, and food. Some of the best fresh made pita bread I’ve ever had in a restaurant.
Delicious!
A successful evening! Fantastic ambience, very, very nice service and the food was simply delicious. A real taste explosion !! Unlike other reviewers, we didn't have to wait long for the food at all. We look forward to next time, thank you!
Eastern cuisine. Lively waiters, excellent interiors. Not for fast food consumption, the format for yuppies, many just do not fit. The wines are simple, but quite ok. What else to add? Original cuisine, not everyone will like it
Cosy and warm atmosphere. Had some amazing tea here.
Nice ambience and good mood
Great cozy atmosphere for a chilly Sunday brunch ???
Definitely one of the best hummus I had in Germany. The falafel was a bit hard and dry though, they should consider adding some baking soda to the mixture (; We liked the atmosphere and the service was good.
While promising, this was a let down. We stayed at the hotel and were highly recommended this food- sadly it was not the case. The atmosphere is great and the menu has promise, but when we asked for a bottle of water they charged 7.50€ - for a bottle of water!!!!! It’s free one floor up next to the toilets... They only brought one pita bread for the table to eat hommus. Hommus was not great which is sad for the theme of the place - and I’m just not sure how you can get hommus so wrong?! The chicken shawarma tasted like oil and not much else (lots of grizzly chewy chicken bits in too so I only got about half of my main dish. We had to ask for any service constantly - no one to take order, check food, get more drinks or clear plates. Best part was the free starter, then all went down hill from there.
Beautifully set up. Delicious cake and coffee.
Really nice bar, cafe and restaurant, central next to the main station with a really cool and eclectic interior. The food is good (I personally love the sabich dish), but you might want to book a table on busy days/evenings.
Neni is the feature restaurant at 25hours Royal Bavarian Hotel at Bahnhoftplatz in Munich. Opening hours are 7am to 3pm and 5.30-11pm daily. This is a casual and somewhat eclectically decorated restaurant with a menu featuring Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Asian influenced cuisine. In addition to dining at the restaurant, you can also order food from Neni and enjoy it at the upstairs Boilerman Bar on the second floor. We tried their Moroccan cigars which were fried well and filled with well beef seasoned with harissa and tahini. These were really tasty. Also tired the Korean fried chicken bites, which were pretty good, could have used more spice to kick up the heat level. However, these tasted good as well. Overall, enjoyed our orders from Neni and would be happy to try this restaurant again the next time we are in Munich.
Food is really good and delicious. Staff are friendly when you have reservations ;) Place has nice ambience and big, still it’s hard to get a table here. And also even though they have feee tables they won’t take you in one hour before the kitchen closure which is sad as I usually need only max 30 mins. Location of the restaurant is good as well as it’s right next to the main train station.
Excellent ! Nice and welcoming personnel. Recommended!
